Summer Packets were sent out to all incoming Kindergarteners and their parents in June. If you didn't receive a packet please contact the school so we can send you won out.
Nursery Rhyme
Student must memorize a nursery Rhyme and draw a picture to tell what is happening in the story.
Make sure you are reading to your children at least 15 minutes a day. This will encourage them also to read and become more familar with the printed word. Showing them that we read from left to right and pointed out words that are used most often when reading. EX: The, and, a, I, or, we, she ect.
Counting objects is very important.
Practice writing first and last name.
ABC flashcards
Number flashcards

Hello I'm Mrs. Armoogam and I LOVE teaching kindergarten at TESA. I have been a teaching for 7 years, and this is my second year teaching kindergarten. I am from Arizona where I attended Arizona State University. I moved to TX 4 years ago with my husband Tony and our children. I have 3 children. A step-daughter Amy that is 18 and attends ASU (like her stepmom), a daughter Skyla 17 who is a Senior at Saginaw High School, and a 7 year old son Reese who is in 2nd grade at TESA. In my free time I enjoy painting, scrapbooking, and making jewelry. My family and I also enjoyed hiking and being outdoors. In the summer I work at the Summer Creek Ranch pool as a monitor/life guard. It is a lot of fun working at the pool. I often see some of my old students.
My classroom is center based to accommodate all learning styles. I love to see children learn through play and art. I love working at TESA and I love the school's vision. The children seem very happy here and enjoy all the extra specials we have.
I hope you and your children enjoy TESA as much as my son and I have.
Thank you,
Tracy Armoogam or Ms. A |
